This page says, in plain words, what we collect when you order a message from Santa, what we do with it and when we delete it. The Jolly Voice is run by [Registered company name and number TBC.] [registered address TBC]
What we collect
Your name, email address and, if you give it, your mobile number. Your child's first name, age, how to say their name, their wishes, something they did well, the family pet's name and whether they are on the Nice List. Your postal address, only if a letter or certificate is being posted. Payment is handled by Stripe; your card number never reaches us.
What we do with it
We use your child's details to write their message and nothing else. The script is checked and then voiced with AI voice technology (ElevenLabs). The letter and certificate are printed and posted by Stannp. Emails come from us through Resend. If you are in the UK and tick the WhatsApp box, reminders and offers come through Twilio. We do not sell or share these details with anyone else.
Emails and messages
You always get the emails that deliver your order. Unless you opt out, we may send up to two reminders if you do not finish an order and the occasional Christmas offer; every one has an unsubscribe link. WhatsApp messages (UK only) are sent only if you ticked the box, and you can reply STOP at any time.
How long we keep it
Your child's details and the message files are deleted [60 days after Christmas, by 23 February 2027]. Order and payment records are kept for as long as the law requires for accounts and tax.
Cookies
Essential cookies run your order and remember your choices. Measurement cookies (Meta, TikTok and Google Ads) are set only if you choose "Accept all" on the cookie banner, and tell us which of our ads led to an order. You can change your mind at any time from the link in the footer.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with how we handled it. Email orders@thejollyvoice.com.
